FALL REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED
Our fall term officially began September 8 and will run through December 12, with a makeup week scheduled for the week of December 14.
SPRING REGISTRATION WILL RUN FROM JANUARY 4TH THROUGH THE 22ND.
Students may register in person during office hours or by returning a registration form with full payment for classes/lessons via mail or by fax (304-293-7491). There is a $5.00 family registration fee for new and returning enrollees. For those registering for more than one discipline (Art, Music, Theatre, or Dance), only one family registration fee per semester is required. A 5% discount may be taken on additional family members, second instruments, or additional classes. A 10% discount is available for senior citizens (ages 60 and up). Payment can be made by check (made payable to West Virginia University), VISA or MASTERCARD. Full payment is required at the time of registration. Patrons are encouraged to register via mail. We apologize, but registrations cannot be taken over the phone.
Minimum enrollment is required for all group classes. Registration must be completed before a student can attend group classes or lessons. In case of cancellation of any class, students will be notified. Registration and additional class and program information, including a registration form, teacher bios and program policies may be accessed on our website at communityarts.wvu.edu.
Private lesson times will be arranged following the receipt of the required fees. There is a limit as to how many students we are able to accept in each individual class. Admission into classes is on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have been placed on a waiting list, we ask that you do not show up for the class unless we notify you of an opening. In general, students will not receive a confirmation regarding entrance to a class unless the class has already been filled or will be cancelled, but you may call the office to verify that we have received your registration at any time.
In an effort to be fair to all patrons, we will not accept in-office registrations for group classes until the first official day of registration on January 4th. We will, however, accept mail-in registrations prior to January 4th, once class information is made available to the public, either in the brochure or on our website.
